reporting what happened at the at Tiritiri martangi

When: the 30th of May.
Where: Tiritiri martangi.
What: learn things about some native or endemic birds that are endangered.
Why: so we can take care of them.
Who: with the senior syndicate.
How: we went there and back again by ferry.
We saw so many fantails or known as piwakawaka.
We saw .8 percent of the worlds population of the takahe there is 300 takahe.
Some people saw a jellyfish and I was one of them it had some red inside of it.
It took 30-40-50 minutes to get there we saw some native birds that were endangered.
We went on a scavenger hunt and almost found all of them but then we had to go we went to the beach then we went back to the ferry we got to go on top the wind was blowing really hard so people got cold people hoodies got full of air.

Our zoo trip

On the 14th of June we went to the Auckland zoo we saw a lot of animals and learned some facts here is one of them a Turatara  only needs to breath once an hour and has three eyes. Here are some photos and videos we had a great time. We went into the bug lab to find out things about bugs then we went back into the zoo we saw a white rhino they are endangered but we did not see it face to face so we only saw his behind.the reason why we went to the zoo is because we needed to learn about endangered animals. we had a session with John one of the zoo keepers and a teacher we had him and took us into the zoo.

Paper planes

This week for maths we have been learning about measurement and estimating how far they will go and then we did a competition of how far or plane will go and if you win chocolate
to find how I made the planes search here
