Gymnastics

Hi Bloggers It's me Rio

On Wednesday we had Gymnastics. We first started with a game called musical hoops. We then did some stretches. After we did a course: we had to jump on a trampoline to the end then balance on something to do a flip. Then we jumped over some cones then we jump over a wall then we did a forward roll then we do it again then we do a spring onto a box then we walk on a ladder then we had to hang while walking by going on a bar. Then we had to climb on one then we had to hold a deflated kind of football ball
hanging on a bar and putting it in a hoop then we had to jump on some things then we had to go into the foam pit then we had to jump on a trampoline. Then we had to leave. Here are some photos.

  1. Kia ora Rio,

My name is Rachel and I am working with the Summer Learning Journey programme this year. I can see that you have been active on your blog recently and I'd love to invite you to join us over the summer as we continue learning and blogging throughout the break.

To join the programme, please check out the 'Weekly Activities' tab on the Summer Learning Journey website (www.summerlearningjourney.co.nz). On this tab you will find links to 60 different activities, including some related to sports. I can see that you had a great time at Tristar gym with your school. My son, Aronui, used to take gymnastics lessons at Tristar when he was little! He is now 8 years old and prefers to play soccer and basketball. What about you? Do you have any favourite sports?

Hope that you're able to write back and to join us in the SLJ this year. I'd love to read your work and post comments.

    All the best,
    Rachel
